so i spent 29 hours in the hospital... a very, VERY long 29 hours... i had a CT scan of my brain and you'll be happy to know i do, in fact, have a brain... there was no sign of a stroke, a bleed, or a tumor... praise God! and then i had an ultrasound of my carotid arteries, don't have the results of that yet... and i also had a 2D echocardiogram to check the heart valves because if they are messed up it can lead to blood clots being formed... don't know the results of that test either... i will go back to the doctor next week for the results and a follow up... they definitely think i had a TIA, just don't know what caused it... hopefully something will show up on the other tests i had... in the meantime, i will now add aspirin 325mg once a day and vytorin once a day to the 2 BP meds i'm taking... vytorin will lower my cholesterol and aspirin will make my blood not clot so easily... i feel better knowing my brain is okay, but i'm troubled by not knowing what caused it in the first place... i will just have to keep praying and wait and see... thank you all for your love and support and prayers... means the world to me...
