I wrote this to my Father in heaven today...

Listening to a beautiful song by Your daughter, Kate, made me realize more just how awesome and wonderful and loving You are! You are sovereign, You are omniscient and omnipresent and omnipotent! You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! You knew when You created us how we would turn away from You, reject You, destroy You and yet You created us anyway. For Your pleasure and love and joy. You hung the moon and the stars and the sun in the sky for us despite who we are. I am blown away by these things! And I wonder how You can love us so much? And then I think about my own children You gave to me and how one turned away from me and rejected me and broke my heart. And when I had almost lost all hope for his life, miraculously, he came back from the brink of some great abyss to love me and cling to me again. And I realize this is how my life was written by You to show me a picture of how my relationship with You is the same. You brought me back from the brink of some great abyss so I could love You and cling to You again! I will never be able to express my love for You in a way that anyone on earth will ever be able to grasp. Like heaven being better than our wildest dreams, is my love for You!!
