do you believe in the power of prayer? i do... since i made a new committment to pray to God, my life has taken a turn for the better... as i knew it would... i have been quite lazy the past several months about praying and have experienced many trials that i didn't deal with so good because i didn't seek the Lord with all my strength... praying is the way to communicate with God, to get to know Him and build a strong relationship with Him, to be able to learn to hear His voice... and i confess, i was just not devoted to that communication... this week has been amazingly good because i began to seek the Lord with more devotion to Him and to what His will is for my life... I have a renewed peace and joy that kind of dwindled away during my lazy period... i also have renewed strength to deal with how hard my job is... it's been all good... so, one hour ago, i was praying to the Lord earnestly... praying for everybody i could think of, including all of you... i prayed for Galen specifically to have an increasing desire to get to know God by praying more and for him to want to read the Bible... one hour later, seemingly out of the blue, i get a text message from him saying he wants to start reading the Bible! God is sooo awesome and faithful to hear and answer my prayers... why not see if He'll answer yours too?
