the new alternator becaming increasingly louder, like it was loose or something... so i took it to the garage again to have them look at it... the only person there was the cuban man who doesn't speak english well... he looked at it and played around with it... loosened things and showed me things i didn't know anything about and then put it back together and THEN told me it's a bad part and it can't be fixed until tomorrow because the part store is closed and the boss won't be in until tomorrow either... at least it didn't break down in key largo yesterday... no big deal really except i am on call today and the hospital is 20 miles away... i do have the new bicycle i got from my rotten wonderful kids for xmas, but i think it would take me a couple of hours to ride that far... sigh... i guess i could call a cab...
a christmas miracle

so last night the tallboy took the shortboy who is now taller than me to booger king for some refreshment and he said the car started funny... then he went for gas and the car wouldn't start at all... it just made a whirring noise... so i walked over to the gas station and sure enough it whirred but wouldn't start... then it would only make a clicking noise... so both the kids pushed the car back to the apartment where it sat over night and i got up early today and tried to start it again and it made no sound at all... then i walked over to the garage where i took it the last time it was acting weird and praise, the Lord, they were open! after speaking to a cuban man who didn't understand me, he told me to wait 20 minutes and the boss would be in... so the boss came in and called a tow truck and one hour later the car was at the garage and diagnosed as having a bad alternator and here comes the miracle... they were able to get the part and a battery and fix it! and it was done in 2 hours! christmas miracle! and i had the money to fix it too!
