While bouncing around the internet, I found this:

and I find this to be a very sad state of affairs for those who are looking for the grace of God. Jesus Christ is not mentioned once by this “church”. Before I was born again, I ran into this sort of “Christianity” and it left me feeling hopeless. I figured I could never be good enough to be saved and so then what was the point of even trying? This breaks my heart and I don’t even know how to process this.

Please, I implore you, if you are a new Christian or even someone seeking God, do not fall for this. God does not require that we work our way into heaven. We are saved by grace! It is a free gift of God and cannot be earned by anything we do. The only word of authority from God is His Bible, not some man’s end-time prophecy books. There is no “new ” information we need apart from the word of God!

Finally, pray for these folks to have the truth revealed to them, that God loves them and doesn’t expect them to have these rigid rules as a way to be saved because: 8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
